Watts Life Technologies
An independent software engineering and technology consulting firm in Mill Valley, California. We design, build, ship, and maintain software for the companies and teams that depend on it.
How we work
Most of our engagements start the same way: a team has more software to build than it has people to build it, or it has software that has quietly stopped being maintainable. We come in as working engineers, not as a layer of management. We write the code, review the pull requests, run the deploys, and stay accountable for what happens after release.
Because the firm is small, the person you talk to is the person doing the work. That keeps the feedback loop short, the estimates honest, and the handoff at the end of an engagement clean — documented, tested, and owned by your team rather than by us.
Mobile apps
Native iOS and iPadOS applications in Swift and SwiftUI, from first prototype through App Store review, release, and ongoing updates.
Web & backend
APIs, services, data models, and web front ends — built to be readable, tested, and operable by the team that inherits them.
Cloud & DevOps
Deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and the release process that turns finished work into shipped work.

Our products
Alongside client work, we build and operate our own software — web applications and iOS apps that we design, ship, support, and maintain ourselves. It keeps us honest about the parts of the job that consulting can hide: App Store review, support email, crash reports, and the cost of a decision made two years ago.
Arcarrow
A project management tool built for independent architecture firms, with an AI chat assistant for scheduling and coordinating client work alongside project tracking and firm-wide dashboards.
HomeHub
A home valuation tool for homeowners, delivering an instant estimated market value alongside a map of the comparable local sales behind it.
